My name is Happy and I am only 14 weeks old. My former owner adopted me a few weeks before moving to a place where she could not take me with her. Thankfully, friends rallied around to stop me from going to the pound. My current foster family says they will keep me until I have found a forever-home.

I love to play fetch, tug, and chase the water out of a garden hose on hot days. I also enjoy digging around in the dirt. I am very good at sitting on command. I can also lie-down and roll-over but sometimes I need help to get all the way over. Most of all, I love to snuggle and get my belly rubbed!

I can be shy at first, but warm up to new people quickly. I am still a puppy and haven’t learned what things should and shouldn't go in my mouth (like people’s hands) and if I have been alone for a while, I may jump up on you when I see you. My foster parents say I am learning very fast, though. My foster parents are also teaching me that the bathroom is outside. I try to make it but I still have accidents.

I am pretty good at walking on a leash although I am shy of other people walking by. I happily sleep in my crate at night with no complaints. I may not be the best for a house with small children until I am trained a little more.
