My name is Buddy. I have a very sad story, and you can still see it in my eyes, but the love and affection I've received this past month will soon help me forget everything.

I was rescued from the streets of San Bernardino, as I lay in the gutter next to my friend, who had been hit by a car and was killed. A good Samaritan pulled over after so many people just passed me by, and picked us up. She then sent an urgent request to Cause for SB Paws, who took me under their wing.

Since then, I've been living with a loving foster family, and gradually building my confidence and weight back up. They have posted my story all over hoping to find my owners, but I was not wearing a collar and I was not chipped.

Now, I hope to find a loving family, so I never find myself lost and afraid at the side of the road again. 

I am great with other dogs, cats, kids - EVERYONE. I am just a love.
