Oh, hello there! My name is Delilah, and I am a 3-year-old mixed breed beauty. My foster parent’s best guess is that I am a Hound/Pointer mix. I was found roaming the streets of Redlands with my sister Penny, and sadly, my original family did not respond to any of the social media blasts or flyers that my foster parent’s put up. I didn’t have the best start of life, but I have come such a far way since then. I am now (mostly) potty-trained, can walk on a leash well, am crate trained, and know all of my basic obedience commands. That being said, I would benefit from further obedience training and socializing with other dogs. My favorite pastimes are playing with toys (especially ones that make noise), playing fetch, going on walks, and taking naps!

I am a bit shy and unsure when I meet new people, particularly men, and I take a little while to warm up, but once trust is built, I am THE BIGGEST love bug!! I love snuggling, giving kisses, and being hugged and petted. 

Although I like to play and be goofy, the best forever home for me is with a person or family who is on the calmer side, loving, and home often. I prefer not to be in a home with young kids (calm teenagers are cool), and I don’t like loud noises, fireworks, quick movements, or yelling. If you already have a dog, I could potentially grow to love them if they give me time to adjust and are nice, but I’d also be happy being the only doggo in the house. I prefer a home without cats.
