Gryla was part of an accidental litter between a groomer's female Bloodhound and her neighbor's Cane Corso. Pups were born Nov 4th 2021.

Poor Gryla is the last pup looking for a home, because soon after she was adopted, she developed cherry eye in both eyes and her adopter returned her in case it couldn't be corrected with surgery. 

We had it corrected with surgery (the gland is repositioned and stitched back into place), and she has to go back for a 2nd surgery Feb 27th because both slightly still show. She has very droppy Bloodhound eyes, so she may need future surgeries to maintain them, and the cherry eye can always return. Poor Gryla, because when people learn that, they are no longer interested. 

We're confident though that she will find a family that is financially able to care for all the demands of her breed mix, and we know she'll find the right family!
