Polar Bear and Kodiak came from a backyard breeding situation and the overwhelmed owner asked for rescue help, then changed her mind because she wanted to sell them for profit, and then left these two with a friend. The friend asked if we could take them. They were covered in fleas, a little wormy, and had no shots, but aside from that, healthy, happy and super adorable. 

They are both playful and loving, mostly piddle-pad trained, and learning crate training. Adopters need to be ready to potty train (puppies never come potty trained), puppy-proof the house because they will chew shoes, cords, anything that feels good on their teeth, and if adopters work away from home, another dog at the house to keep them company is essential. 

They are now vaccinated and scheduled for neuter and chip on Sept. 15. We can do an early adoption for adopters who live close enough to San Bernardino to take to their neuter appointment, otherwise they will be ready to go home after neuter.
