Missy, the Doxie lounger, came to be a Cause kid when her owner passed away unexpectedly. Despite losing everything, she is such a happy girl. 

We think Missy is around 8 years old, and her personality is that of a distinguished lady. She does not poop or pee in the house, she goes to her sleeping place each night without a fuss, she is independent, but still appreciates affection and the occasional cuddle.

When she first arrived to the foster's house, she would often whine. Now she is settled and easy, breezy, like Sunday morning.

Missy would do fine in a home with children as long as they were careful not to trip or step on her and gave her the space a distinguished lady needs. She’d also do well in an apartment. 

Currently Missy is getting medication for a lacerated eye, which is healing and looking a lot better, but shr msy need drops or ointment ongoing. Luckily, she is a good girl when putting the ointment in her eyes. She doesn’t mind a bit.

She will bark if someone comes to the door or a dog walks by the window. Her favorite part of the day is meal time. She wiggles her little butt with excitement when she knows her food is being served. And of course, she loves her belly rubs!

Missy will be available for adoption soon, and we're accpeting applications now so we can find her the best home possible. She has lost a lot in a short amount of time and deserves nothing but the best!
