Doberman mix Casio came to us as an owner surrender, because their landlord would not let them keep him. Casio's prior owners also admitted that for the approximately 3 months they had him, they did not have much time for him and he did not get any socialization beyond the household. Because of this, he was very scared when he came to us and is hesitant about meeting new people. However, he warmed up to us by the next day and was his full, silly self within just a couple days. While in his foster home, he has been getting lots of walks and has met a few new people. He is doing better and will bark for a few minutes and then be okay with the new people. He will still need help with this, as well as the usual training that comes with adopting a new puppy.

Casio is very much still a puppy and is still teething, potty training, learning manners, and the difference between what's a toy and what's not a toy. He has learned to sit and will do so on command. Casio is also getting the hang of crate-training, and will gladly go in his crate for a treat. He also loves other dogs and is even good with the cat in his foster home! We have not observed Casio around small children, but because he is learning his size and not to jump up on people, adopters with small children would need to be extra cautious.

Casio is very active, and a home with a yard is a must. Other active dogs in the household is also preferred. Casio loves playing with the water hose, roughhousing with his foster siblings, and going for walks.
