Biscuit has a sad past but we’re hoping for a bright future. We got a tearful phone call from a young girl who loved him very much, but her mom’s new boyfriend didn’t, so he had to go. Mom was going to take him to the San Bernardino City shelter, so this young woman desperately reached out for a rescue. 

Biscuit was painfully shy and nippy at first. We gave him his own space for several weeks and then magic happened -- he began to trust us. Now he comes right up for attention and belly rubs. He is super affectionate and the happiest boy now!

He can be an escape artist, so he needs a secure home with block walls (he can dig under wood and chain link). An apartment would be great because outside time would be walks only and never unsupervised in a backyard. He adores other dogs and loves to play with dogs of all sizes. Not sure about cats but can be cat tested. 

We’re not sure of his breed - he is a short and stout little guy with doxie legs and an adorable waddle. His freckles add character. He has soulful, amber eyes.
